Message as far as windage goes..... it would probably cost the same to do a dry sump setup vs having a shop knife edge a crank for you but at the end of the day.... yes a knife edged crank will have less rotating mass and is more aerodynamic, a dry sump will let you corner without fear and give you an equal gain in hp IMO
